What Does a Corporate Chocolate Making Workshop Involve?

We offer different workshops, each with a specific focus, but all workshops are run by Vicki, our passionate chocolatier. Vicki has delivered corporate workshops for groups from orgnasations as diverse as Twinings and Coeliac UK to groups of employees based at the Kingsmead and Odyssey Business Parks, so you can be sure you’re in expert hands.

If you are looking to escape the office, we welcome groups of up to 9 delegates to our venue in Beaconsfield, Bucks, or our equipment is portable so we can bring the chocolatey fun to your office or venue of your choice.

Working with chocolate helps with boosting creativity, communication and time-management skills but each of our workshops has a different focus. We also love delivering bespoke experiences so if you have a particular idea that you’d like to bring to life for your team, let’s talk about it.

Chocolate Workshops to choose from:

Chocolate Creations Workshop

This workshop offers the opportunity to get together, catch up and have fun with colleagues in a relaxed and informal workshop.

Suitable for either smaller groups of a minimum of 6 or larger groups working in teams, it’s brilliant for all ages and abilities!

Learn all about your favourite indulgence: chocolate. How it’s grown, sourced and made, exploring the bean to bar process, and trying different cocoa types from exotic parts of the world – a great icebreaker and crowd pleaser!

Then, guided by our chocolatiers, have a go at working with the chocolate yourself: mixing ingredients and essences to create your own ganache fillings; piping, dipping and decorating to create your own unique chocolate truffles to take home (and of course taste as you go!) At the end of the session, you wrap up your creations in professional gift boxes, bags and ribbon to take away with you to enjoy, share and show off!

This is a relaxed event where everyone goes away with a bag full of their unique chocolate goodies.

We can also add in a competitive element and put the group into teams and judge the most creative and tasty end results! We have found that this optimises teamwork and can also be focussed on brand awareness and selling their end products to the rest of the team.

We can accommodate dairy free, vegan and gluten free diets.

2 hours of chocolate! Plus, time to set up and clear up (approximately ½ hour either side depending on numbers, if holding the workshop outside of our premises).

£42 per head plus travel costs where relevant.

Perfect as:

  • A relaxed treat
  • A fun and interactive event

Chocolate Tasting Experience: Take your Tastebuds on a trip around the world!

Whether you’re looking to give your people a relaxing experience enjoying sampling great quality chocolate or want an hour of indulging their senses, this is the experience for you. Perfect as a lunch and learn, on our chocolate tasting you’ll learn more about the complexities of this wonderful confectionery.

Start with sampling raw cacao beans from Peru then move onto chocolates from all over the world, including Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and Tanzania. Taste the difference in chocolates which have gone through varying levels and methods of processing, from the drying of the beans to the blending of the melted chocolate. You’ll learn about flavour profiles and combinations and you may be surprised to find that darker doesn’t necessarily mean more bitter.

Finish off with a truffle or 2 and some of your favourite chocolate to take with you to continue the taste experience at home! This session lasts approximately 1 hour.

Our workshops are suitable for groups from 6 to 60 or more!

Prices start at £200 for a group of up to 10 people.

Create Your Brand in Chocolate

This workshop is a different and fun way of getting participants to think about your brand. We’ll discuss a little about brand ethos and how this might be represented through taste, shape, colour and flavour and look at some fun examples.

And then the group completes the challenge to create their own chocolate bars to best represent your brand, either individually or in teams. After the allotted time everyone presents back to the rest of the group.

This workshop is great fun and we recommend for a variety of scenarios including:

  • New starters
  • Businesses undergoing a rebrand
  • New product launches
  • Brainstorming exercise
  • Customer services

Getting your staff to dig into the brand values of your business and why they matter can really help with a sense of alignment and achieving business goals.

3 hours of chocolate! Plus, time to set up and clear up (approximately ½ hour either side depending on numbers, if holding the workshop outside of our premises).

£60 per head plus travel costs where relevant.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it worked perfectly for our group.

Thank you again for running an excellent workshop yesterday for us. The whole team had a great time!

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful afternoon you provided. It was a great team building event with lovely take home packages at the end. Everyone had great fun, learnt new skills and best of all, got to try an array of chocolate.
