Team building Workshops

With its mood boosting properties we have found that working with chocolate is a great way for everyone to relax and divert focus away from an often busy and intense working week! It’s a great opportunity to get together, catch up and have fun with colleagues in a relaxed and informal workshop.

The Learning and Sampling!

Learn all about your favourite indulgence; how chocolate is grown, sourced and made, exploring the bean to bar process, and trying different chocolate types from exotic parts of the world – a great icebreaker!

Getting Creative!

Then its time to get creative! Guided by our expert team, have a go at working with the chocolate yourself; mixing ingredients and essences; piping, dipping and decorating to create your own unique chocolate creations from flavoured bars to decadent truffles to take home (and of course taste as you go!)  At the end of the session you wrap up your creations in professional gift boxes, bags and ribbon to take away with you to enjoy, share and show off!  We will even add in a competitive element with chocolate trophies for the winners!

Come and join us at our studio in Beaconsfield where we can accommodate up to 9 people. Alternatively our equipment is fully portable so we can also set up at your offices or chosen venue and run your workshop from there.

So if you are looking for something different to do as a team building event, for a special occasion or just as an excuse to get together then get in touch and we would be delighted to talk through your requirements and provide a quote

Educational Workshops

We have been working with schools across key stages 1 and 2, holiday clubs and with organisations such as the Scouts and Guides to provide fun and interactive workshops for children and teenagers.

The Learning!

We start off with an introduction to chocolate – its fascinating history and move through to current day and the science behind how its made. The children get the chance to handle real cocoa pods and nibble on the cocoa beans to help them understand the process cocoa goes through before becoming a chocolate bar!  The children then get a quiz to test their knowledge!

The Making!

Each child gets to make and take home the end product.  We bring our melted chocolate and toppings so they get to create their own lolly or even a chocolate Mayan mask!

Our workshops are tailored to the ages of the children and link in with the school curriculum across subjects including Geography, English and History – especially where the children have been learning about the Maya and Aztecs and their love of cacao!

“Workshop week” “activities day” or just a fun end of term activity are an ideal time to introduce this unique cross curricular experience. We run the workshops at schools and venues to save you travel time and costs and will work with you to fit around lessons and time schedules. All our workshop leaders are DBS checked and we bring our own PAT tested equipment
